About Joen Rude

My name is Joen, and my middle name is Rude. You might think… that’s a rude name? But in reality, it’s Danish, and “rude” means glass window. Still, “rude” also does encapsulate my art in some ways, because I love making art that provokes. I paint directly from the heart with no filters. Whatever ends up on the canvas is something I care deeply about.
